Today marks Tezign's 11th anniversary, and our reporter is on the front lines—every year on this day, we gather to celebrate and enjoy the moment. Eleven years is the starting point for the next decade, and for Tezign, it marks the beginning of a new chapter. This year, we welcomed a special "friend": a high-end non-alcoholic grape drink from South Africa, making a grand entrance at the 'Tavern of Unique Imagination'. Why has it come to Tezign? What is its background?Join me as we explore the story behind INAH.

INAH, From South Africa
INAH is a star brand under the Waterberry umbrella, which also includes multiple brand lines across different categories. INAH, short for INAH Superior Grape Juice, was established in 2006, with vineyards located at the foothills of Stellenbosch in South Africa—one of the most important grape-growing regions in the country and globally recognized for high-quality grape raw materials.

INAH's products focus on high-end non-alcoholic grape drinks: 0% alcohol, no added sugars, vegan-friendly, halal certified, and rich in natural antioxidants. The craftsmanship selects grape varieties to preserve the natural flavor layers and sensory experience of the fruit, without adding alcohol and without compromising quality. The products have stable sales in multiple global markets and have received numerous international awards.

INAH targets core scenarios of high-end business banquets—providing a truly quality choice in situations where maintaining a sense of ceremony is necessary but drinking alcohol is inconvenient. It is also suitable for daily high-quality consumption, aimed at consumers who prioritize a healthy lifestyle. The brand has just entered the Chinese market and is primarily expanding online promotion and sales channels.

A South African Grape Drink Enters the Chinese Market: How Can AI Help?
When INAH decided to enter China, it faced an unfamiliar consumer structure.
Before entering China, a round of basic research was conducted: industry reports, competitor analysis, and consumer awareness. The conclusion was that "non-alcoholic beverages are in an educational phase in China, and high-end dining scenarios have potential"—this judgment is not incorrect, but it does not answer the real decision-making question: What type of consumers will choose INAH in what scenarios, instead of mineral water or tea drinks? South African origin, halal certification, 0% alcohol, international awards—among these advantages, which is the most persuasive in the Chinese market?
The traditional path is to conduct research, wait for reports, then make decisions, and finally test; this cycle takes six months.
INAH did not take this old route; they chose Tezign's Atypica.
User Insights—Truly Breaking Down the 'Target Consumer'
Atypica first scanned the Chinese non-alcoholic beverage market for competitors and consumption trends, eliminating ineffective directions, and then began the truly difficult task: understanding who the people behind "not wanting to drink" really are.
Its foundation is the Subjective World Model (SWM), which models not age or income labels, but motivations: why choose this product, what situations might change judgment, and which advantage points can genuinely trigger purchase intent.

The result is that "not wanting to drink" in the Chinese market corresponds to several completely different groups of people. Business scenarios require "staying sober but not appearing out of place", religious taboos necessitate halal certification, and health-conscious individuals may be abstaining or reducing alcohol consumption—these three groups have different perceptions of the same product, and the positioning language varies accordingly.
After clarifying these models with SWM, Atypica simulated in-depth interviews through AI Interview, allowing different personas to interact with the product in different scenarios, observing which positioning direction had higher acceptance. Ultimately, two priority directions for entering China were identified: business banquet scenarios and daily health scenarios. The entire user insight process took two weeks, skipping the average six-month cycle of traditional market entry research.

Product Development—Insights Directly Entering Decision-Making
After gaining insights, the first thing INAH did was not to run marketing, but to return to the product itself.
With the consumer motivation data modeled by SWM, the product team could see more clearly: what the Chinese health-conscious population understands about "sugar-free" and "craft feel", what the expectations are for aroma intensity and packaging visuals in business scenarios, and which consumer groups find halal certification to be a true decision trigger.
These insights directly informed product adjustment decisions for the Chinese market. The entire cycle from insight to new product launch was significantly shortened. The bottle of INAH that appeared at Tezign's 818 anniversary 'Tavern of Unique Imagination' is the first batch of products that have been adjusted for the Chinese market based on AI insights.

Market Expansion—Insights Are Not Just Reports to Be Discarded
What is more important than the two conclusions for entering China is the process of reaching these conclusions—the understanding of Chinese consumer motivations has been fully consolidated.
Next time INAH enters a new city, expands new channels, or launches new products, there is no need to start from scratch. The previous consumer understanding from modeling is still available and can be continuously accessed and updated. Each new market action generates data that will be written back into this understanding, making AI's user profile for INAH increasingly accurate.
The logic of traditional market expansion is: every time you enter a new place, redo the research. INAH is following a path of: one-time modeling, continuous access, and deepening use.

The bottle of INAH you are drinking today is just the beginning.
This set of consumer understanding also supports INAH's subsequent content marketing and product innovation directions—what types of people resonate more with which content discourse systems, which channels' communication methods and brand tones match best, and which flavor and scenario direction the next new product should take.
For a brand entering a new market, the hardest part has never been the first research report, but having enough user understanding to support every decision point thereafter. INAH is building not just a report with AI, but a set of insights that can continuously work.
In the future, INAH will have an AI that understands it more and more—understanding who its users are, when they will be moved, and what the results of the last product test mean for the next development. Each interaction with consumers will deepen this understanding. This is the proprietary intelligence of the brand.

The accumulated insights and user understanding do not belong solely to the INAH brand—they will also be integrated into the entire Waterberry brand system, providing references for product innovation and market expansion for more brand lines, allowing each brand line to delve deeper into its respective scenarios.
Consumers are looking for a brand that truly understands them, while brands are seeking a way to genuinely connect with consumers.
These two things used to rely solely on time and luck;
now, there is a proactive way to advance.
The mutual pursuit of brands and consumers is no longer a mystery.
