From October 22 to 25, the 2026 West Bank International Technology Consumer Carnival (WTCC) is held at the Shanghai West Bank International Exhibition Center. Over 400 cutting-edge technology brands from around the world gather here, centered around the theme of 'AI for a Lifetime,' with the first and fourth floors of the exhibition hall set as 'Living Scenarios' and 'Creative Practices' respectively, linking to the outdoor space along the West Bank riverside.
Reporters on site noticed a significant change in the curatorial logic of this year's WTCC. The exhibition is no longer divided by technology categories but instead follows the thread of 'a person's life,' connecting eight chapters such as 'Starting Point of Life, Curious World, Creating the World, Intelligent Work, Fun is Most Important, Mind-Body Balance, New Chapter of Life, and Boundless Life,' showcasing specific consumer scenarios of AI in areas like home care, educational enlightenment, office collaboration, sports health, and elder-friendly living, illustrating the paths through which AI agents and embodied intelligence are seen, experienced, and purchased by consumers.
Fan Ling, founder and CEO of Tezign Technology, explained the application prospects of intelligent agents from a B2B perspective. Tezign's direct clients are brands rather than consumers, but consumers can access product recommendations, shopping advice, and customer service issue resolutions provided by brands through the 'Subjective World Model' developed by Tezign. 'Large models do not replace companies in decision-making but provide brands with judgment bases,' said Fan Ling.
On the first day of WTCC, Tezign Technology launched the 'Intelligent Agent Transformation Co-construction Plan,' proposing that companies should build two systems: the 'Subjective World Model' and the 'Enterprise World Model,' establishing a 'Long-term Intelligent Agent' that can continuously enter workflows and operate long-term, moving from 'renting model intelligence' to 'owning intelligent sovereignty.'
This year's WTCC features nearly a hundred new products, covering various levels such as global debuts, China debuts, and Shanghai debuts. Shi Zhinan, deputy general manager of the exhibition organizer Z·Pilot, introduced that there are three main deciding factors for brands to choose to participate in the technology consumer exhibition at the West Bank: Shanghai's combination of AI industry accumulation and AI consumer scenarios; the strong fashionable consumption attributes of the West Bank itself; and the various release scenarios that the WTCC exhibition provides, which are urgently needed by enterprises.
