Unlocking the 'Right Brain' Potential of Artificial Intelligence

As the lights come on, at the 'Mosu Space' Tezign Technology Lab in Xuhui District, Shanghai, a busy scene unfolds, with the sounds of keyboard tapping and lively discussions echoing. Fan Ling is discussing the latest product testing with several graduate students from Tongji University's School of Design and Innovation. This is not only the office of Tezign Technology Company but also the Tongji University Design Artificial Intelligence Lab. Here, a group of young people is focused on developing an enterprise-level content AI platform to help companies achieve more efficient content production, analysis, distribution, and management.

We are a company dedicated to empowering enterprise content with artificial intelligence, hoping to build an enterprise-level content AI platform through the combination of technology and creativity. The core technology is content understanding and generation, which involves reasoning and parsing unstructured data such as images, text, and videos using large language models, ultimately producing the content that users need.

Research shows that the left brain controls logical operations, while the right brain dominates humanities, design, and art. Currently, most AI technologies are focused on 'left brain' development, and the potential of the 'right brain' has not been fully tapped. Our direction of effort is to unlock the 'right brain' potential of artificial intelligence by accumulating large amounts of data to form a foundational open-source dataset for creative design, enabling the AI platform to understand and optimize content production more efficiently.

In recent years, we have jointly established the Tongji University Design Artificial Intelligence Lab with Tongji University, forming a research team that includes backgrounds in design, computer science, cognitive science, digital humanities, and management science, all working together on 'content + artificial intelligence'. Currently, the team has built a multi-level teaching system and developed over 30 course modules, integrating AI technology into teaching scenarios while cultivating innovative talents alongside optimizing technology.

In April of this year, through everyone's joint efforts, we launched the commercial research agent atypica.AI, which simulates the unstructured thinking paths in human decision-making to achieve open-ended business problem deduction.

The prospects for technological innovation are broad, and artificial intelligence is in its prime. Continuously expanding the boundaries of technology and cultivating more creative young people is our direction of effort.
